More information

    • The AOC Sauternes comprises the municipalities of Barsac, Bommes, Fargues, Preignac and Sauternes, located in the south of Bordeaux. Its sweet whites wines, famous all over the world, have a main characteristic: they are made with grape (semillon, sauvignon blanc and muscadelle) affected with botrytis cinerea. A fungus dehydrates the grape until it concentrates sugars and acidity. Its appearance is due to the warm autumn mornings that give way to nocturnal mists which don’t disappear until dawn. A tasting to know the cradle of the great sweet white wines of the world.

The following wines will be tasted:
      Château Cousteau Cadillac 2015
      Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey 2013

      Château Rieussec 2007
