More information

    • Catalan viticulture is experiencing a revival of indigenous and ancestral varieties. Cariñena, Xarel·lo, Macabeu, Parellada, White Grenache, Red Grenache, Malvasía and Muscatel are some of those varieties of great personality that have already become a recognized hollow and are part of the wines of reference of the Catalan wineries. Now they have also recovered the sumoll in the Penedès, the trepat in Conca de Barberà, Picapoll Blanca and Picapoll Negra in Pla de Bages or Tinta Morenillo in Terra Alta. Undoubtedly, a varietal heritage that has returned to stay.
